Factorial - Sage 100 France | Employees: Setting up the interface

📌 This guide is for: Employees template 4.x · BrynQ Agent 3.10 or newer · Sage 100 France v9. Another version? See Start here – choose your version.

About this template

The Factorial - Sage 100 France Employees template sends employee master data from Factorial to Sage 100 France (v9) automatically. BrynQ reads the data from Factorial, turns it into a Sage import file, and the BrynQ Agent on your Sage server imports it with ConnectImport.

Full setup guide

The complete step-by-step guide, with screenshots, a video, checkpoints and troubleshooting, is available in four languages:

The setup in short

Use this overview to see where you are. The full guide explains each step in detail.

Step 1: Install the BrynQ Agent on the Sage server

  • Download the Agent in BrynQ under Organization > Agent and install it on the Windows server where Sage runs, as a Windows administrator.
  • Select your Sage companies (PRH files) and the SQL Server. The installer suggests these values for you.
  • Create a Sage service user and paste its token into the installer.
  • Check that the three BrynQ services are Running.
  • In Sage, create the three BrynQ import models (BrynQ Salariés, BrynQ Salariés en attente and BrynQ Absences). The installer shows their exact titles with Copy buttons. See Step 5 of the full guide.

Step 2: Create the interface from the template

  • In BrynQ, go to Interfaces > New interface > Use our templates and select Factorial - Sage 100 France Employees.
  • Make sure the Factorial and Sage apps are active. Follow this guide to see how to activate an app if you are not using the 'create interface' flow.

Step 3: Fill in the configuration

  • Set the company's payment frequency.
  • Optional (recommended): enter a few employee IDs so your first runs only process those employees.
  • Answer the question Is the DPAE sent outside Sage? with yes or no (oui/non, ja/nee, ja/nein and 1/0 also work). This answer is required: without a valid answer the run stops.

Step 4: Complete the scenarios and value mappings

  • In the Scenarios tab, complete every item marked with an exclamation mark (!).
  • The most important mapping is 'Legal Entity -> Paying Establishment and Dossier' in the scenario Registration. It decides which Factorial legal entity syncs to which Sage company.

Check in Factorial before the first run

  • Every contract has a French contract type. It sets the contract nature in Sage; if it is missing, that field stays empty and the run log shows a warning.
  • Working hours and their frequency are filled in. BrynQ uses them for the monthly working time (for example 35 h/week = 151.67).
  • Every employee has a matricule (company identifier) of exactly 4 characters. Sage v9 requires this.
  • For the DPAE of new employees, the birth city and the trial period end date are filled in.

Most value mappings, such as countries (3-letter codes like FRA) and civility, are already prefilled. You only need to check them.

Step 5: Add the authorizations

  • Factorial: connect with a Factorial administrator account. BrynQ only syncs the employees that this account can see.
  • Sage: enter the BrynQ Agent URL (https://[your-customer-slug].brynq-agent.com) and the Agent token.

New employees: Salariés en attente

  • New employees are sent in a separate file, <dossier>_EN_ATTENTE.xlsx, which Sage imports into Salariés en attente (import model BrynQ Salariés en attente).
  • Payroll then hires them in Sage: Gestion > Salariés en attente, select the rows with Tout and click Embaucher. Until they are hired, BrynQ skips them on the next runs.
  • Embaucher only becomes available when DPAE envoyée is set (from the DPAE question in the Configuration tab) and the rows are selected with Tout.
  • The import reports 'Import terminé avec succès' but you don't see the employee? New employees appear under Salariés en attente first.

Scenarios in this template

The template always uses all of the scenarios below. You cannot switch scenarios on or off. Each scenario covers one topic, and BrynQ combines the data of all scenarios into one Sage import file per Sage company (dossier) per run, named <dossier>.xlsx. You only need to complete the value mappings marked with an exclamation mark (!). New employees go to a second file, <dossier>_EN_ATTENTE.xlsx.
