Monitor Interfaces from the Overview

Monitor Interfaces from the Overview

Summary:
Use the Interfaces overview to search for interfaces, review their run state, and open logs or settings from the list.

Requirements:
- You need access to Interfaces. - You need View interface logs to open logs from a row. - You need Edit interface to change the interface, schedule, or activation state. - You need Run interface to start or stop a run from the overview.

Monitor Interfaces from the Overview

The overview page gives you one place to watch interface status and open the next action.

Switch between views

  • Open Interfaces from the sidebar.
  • Use the view switch to choose Interfaces or Setups.
  • Use Interfaces to monitor live and inactive interfaces.
  • Use Setups to find interfaces that still have a draft or setup in progress.

Find the interface you need

  • Use Search to filter by interface name.
  • In Interfaces, use the filter to show only selected last-run results, such as Finished with errors, Failed, or Stopped by user.
  • Clear the search and filters to return to the full list.

Read the row details

  • The name block shows the interface and its related setup details.
  • Next run shows when BrynQ plans to run the interface again, or Manual and Never run when that applies.
  • Schedule shows the current trigger and frequency. Select it to review or edit the schedule when the interface is runnable.
  • Last run shows the most recent result, such as success, warnings, failed, or stopped.
  • Hover the last run badge to see when it last ran.
  • Disabled interfaces appear muted in the list.

Open Logs and Take Action

Use the row actions when you need to inspect or change an interface.

Open the logs

  • Select Logs to open the interface log view.
  • Use the logs to review messages, errors, run history, and other details.
  • If you have the right access, you can also filter, search, export, or add notes from the log window.

Start, stop, or manage the interface

  • When the interface is Idle, select the status button to start a run.
  • When the interface is Running and stopping is allowed, use the same button to stop it.
  • Select Settings to open the interface configuration page.
  • Select Activate or Deactivate to change whether the interface is available.
  • If a run is queued or running and you are a super admin, you can use Reset to clear the stuck run status.

Troubleshooting

Use these checks when an interface does not show the state you expect.

The interface is missing from the overview

  • Make sure you are in the correct view, Interfaces or Setups.
  • Check the search field and clear any filters.
  • Make sure you have access to the interface.
  • If the interface was deleted or never created, it will not appear in the overview.

The row is disabled or cannot be changed

  • Check whether the interface is already running.
  • Check whether you have Edit interface permission.
  • Some actions are blocked while the interface is running or stopping.
  • If the source or target apps are no longer active, activation can also be blocked.

The last run result looks wrong

  • Open Logs to check the latest execution details.
  • For a queued or running interface that got stuck, ask a super admin to review Reset.
  • If you need to correct the shown result manually, only a super admin can change the last run result from the row.

More Information The overview is the fastest way to monitor many interfaces at once. Use Setups when you are checking unfinished work, and Interfaces when you want to watch live traffic, the next run, and the latest result.
