Release 3.8.0 - 06-12-2022

With this latest release of SalureConnect in 2022, we are introducing many great features, including some that users have been looking forward to for a long time. For example, users can get started with the new bookmark menu in dashboards that contain frequently requested functionality. In addition, a large number of options have been added to the different visualization types. Translate for AFAS also has nice new functionality including proposed DeepL translations. The next release, as every year, will not be released in January, but will be available on February 7, 2023.

Features

Dashboards

  • Bookmarks now consist of general bookmarks created by administrators (visible to the entire organization) and personal bookmarks (visible only to the logged-in user);
  • Bookmarks created by administrators (global bookmarks) have a unique URL. These can be shared within the organization so that everyone can look at the same sheet with the same filter criteria with a single mouse click (provided they have the correct authorizations for dashboard and data);
  • By default, a user 'favorite bookmark' opens the dashboard with that bookmark and associated filters;
  • Filters can be saved directly to a new bookmark. It is technically impossible to modify existing bookmarks. These will - possibly - have to be deleted and recreated;
  • Both the names of sheets, elements and visualizations can now be easily modified in a similar way with a single click;
  • Visualizations can now be copied between dashboards. The clipboard transcends the dashboard;
  • Cell contents and table headers can now be truncated in addition to the default text wrapping. Unfortunately, this is not possible for pivot tables;
  • If there are several visualizations within an element, they can be rearranged by dragging;
  • The reference lines in bar charts can now also be displayed as dotted;
  • The lines of a line graph can now be dotted and the line width can be adjusted;
  • In a line chart, dimensions can be stacked;
  • The text size of KPIs can be adjusted;
  • The styling and alignment of KPIs can be customized;
  • Columns of (pivot) tables can now be hidden with a conditional formula;
  • The last worksheet within a dashboard can no longer be deleted.

Connectors

  • All connectors are provided with matching application icons. These will be added by us in the near future for a better insight;
  • Connector authorizations can be labeled for flexible authorization options.

AFAS Translate

  • The Chrome translation extension is available to customers directly from SalureConnect. The design and operation has been further optimized; Soon it will be offered as standard in the Chrome WebStore;
  • Any text can now be translated into any language with a single mouse click using the new DeepL integration;
  • If an InSite or OutSite page contains a text that matches a translation except for an empty space, it will still choose this translation;
  • When importing new translations, existing translations set up with indicators (so @1 and #@1) are taken into account. For the operation of the variable indicators, see our product description: https://salure.atlassian.net/l/cp/194VWUgE;
  • In addition to InSite, the Translate tool has now also been made available for OutSite environments.

Overig

  • The org chart page user experience has been improved;
  • Minor visual menu optimizations.

Bugfixes

Dashboards

  • The OK/Cancel buttons in a text field visualization fall over the text;
  • The order of explanation and display in column of measures/dimensions does not match;
  • Column sorting of several older tables does not work correctly;
  • White space from measurement that is a text is not shown in SalureConnect;
  • The option 'value point' is incorrectly also visible with a combination chart;
  • When adjusting a visualization, a white overlay is visible;
  • Expanded filter fields do not disappear when you click on the filter again;
  • The font size under table options and dashboard label input fields is not the same;
  • The content of new visualizations is only shown when the page is reloaded;
  • In some cases, the sorting of a visualization had to be reset for visual changes to take effect.

Connectors

  • In some cases the server became unreachable after long idle time on the connector page;
  • New apps could not be created with spaces in the name.

Payroll Control

  • The name of an existing payroll run cannot be edited;
  • When using filters, the selection box cannot be clicked;

AFAS Translate

  • Foreign character translations cannot be imported in all cases;
  • Subsequent translations were no longer retrieved for non-translated texts in the translation table;
  • The translation table did not display all cases correctly;
  • Importing translations gave a 400 error in some cases;
  • When changing the used Profit account, the chosen language of the 1st account remains active.

Other

  • Some users' page permissions were showing blank;
  • Users with an underscore in the name could not be assigned roles;
  • The title of special search fields is not visible after using the search field;
  • The user home page remains the same if user loses rights to this page;
  • Unchecking the top (parent) FileUpload option does not uncheck all childs.
