Summary:
View, search, and remove app connections that are used by interfaces in BrynQ.

Requirements:
- You need access to Interfaces to open the Connections page. - You can only see connections that your access level allows. - You can delete a connection only when BrynQ allows you to manage that connection.

Manage App Connections

App connections are authorizations or connection settings that let an interface exchange data with an app.

Open the Connections page

• Open Connections from the sidebar.
• BrynQ shows a table with the app connections you can access.
• Use Search interfaces to find a connection by the linked interface name.
• If no connections exist yet, BrynQ shows a message with a link to the Apps page.

Read the connection table

• App shows the app that the connection belongs to.
• Interface shows the interface linked to the connection. If BrynQ cannot show the name, it shows Unknown.
• Type shows the connection type, such as OAuth2, SFTP (Public key), SFTP (Password), Email, Manual, or Custom.
• Authorized on shows when the connection was created or authorized.
• Authorized by shows the person who authorized the connection. If the person cannot be shown, BrynQ shows Unknown.

Filter the list

• Use the filter on App to show only connections for selected apps.
• Use the filter on Type to show only selected connection types.
• Use the filter on Authorized by to show only connections authorized by selected people.
• Clear filters when you want to see the full list again.

Remove an App Connection

Remove a connection only when you are sure the related interface no longer needs it.

Delete a connection

• Find the connection on the Connections page.
• Open the row actions menu.
• Select Delete.
• Read the confirmation message. BrynQ warns that deleting the connection can stop the related interface from working.
• Confirm the deletion only if you are sure.

What happens after deletion

• BrynQ revokes the authorization and removes the connection.
• Any interface that used this connection may stop working until a new connection is added.
• Return to the interface setup and open Authorization when you need to add the connection again.

Add or Update Connections From an Interface

New app connections are created from the interface setup, not directly from the Connections page.

Add a connection during setup

• Open Interfaces.
• Open the interface that needs the connection.
• Open Authorization.
• Choose the correct environment, such as Live, Test, or Accept, when these options are available.
• Select Add authorization.
• Complete the connection settings or sign-in steps for the app.
• Save or finish the authorization flow.

Update an existing authorization

• Open the interface and go to Authorization.
• Select Manage settings to change an authorization that you can edit.
• Select View settings when the authorization is read-only for you.
• Use Delete from the authorization row only when you want to remove that authorization from the interface.

Troubleshooting

Use these checks when a connection is missing or an interface cannot connect to an app.

The connection is not listed

• Check that you are signed in to the correct BrynQ workspace.
• Check whether you have access to the related interface.
• Ask an administrator to review your interface access if you expect to see more connections.

The interface stopped working after deletion

• Open the affected interface.
• Go to Authorization.
• Add a new authorization for the required source or target app.
• Run or test the interface again after the authorization is complete.

You cannot delete a connection

• Check whether you authorized the connection yourself.
• Ask an administrator or the person who authorized the connection to remove it when needed.

More Information Deleting a connection is a permanent action for that authorization. Prepare a replacement authorization before deleting a connection that is still used by an active interface.
