BrynQ release 5.1.0 - 12-03-2024

After a period of intensive development and painstaking improvements, we are excited to announce that our newest release is now available: 5.1.0! We acknowledge that it has taken a little longer than usual, but we are confident that the extra time spent refining and testing our platform will result in a significantly improved user experience.

In our ongoing effort to better meet your needs, we have decided to make a significant change in our release strategy. We are moving away from fixed monthly releases to a more flexible release calendar. This change will allow us to respond more quickly to feedback, address any bugs more efficiently, and roll out new, exciting features at a faster pace. We believe this approach will allow us to provide you with an even better service, by letting continuity and innovation go hand in hand.

We are extremely excited about the possibilities this new approach offers and look forward to your feedback on this and future releases. Thank you for your patience and continued support. Let's continue to work together to create an exceptional product. Below we take you through the events of the past 1.5 months. 

Clean ship: from bugs to bug-free.

We understand that perfection is a journey, not a destination. That's why we made an effort to thoroughly test and review every aspect of our product. Our team has worked tirelessly to identify and fix any imperfections. This section highlights the bugs we have identified and successfully fixed leading up to this release. 

Hereby, we would also like to express our sincere thanks to all customers who took the time to report bugs. Your commitment to improving our services is indispensable and greatly appreciated. Together we are building a more robust and reliable product.

We have:
  1. Added missing tooltips, checkboxes, pop-ups and other validations in several places
  2. Worked toward uniformity in the naming of our products and services in all areas of the platform
  3. Unclear errors turned into information you can do something with
  4. Fixed errors when opening, editing or renaming various items
  5. Unfriendly behavior addressed, e.g., closing sheets during a sheet change in edit mode
  6. Worked on the looks of the platform; made quite a few visual improvements
  7. Improved the workability of some elements, for example, scrolling and containing a long list of entitlements
  8. Given filters and search bars uniformity throughout the platform
  9. Ensured that when you select a language, you no longer encounter English (or Dutch) texts
  10. Fixed problems with linking and insightful data models and their dashboards
  11. Squashed all the old, familiar bugs that had come along from SalureConnect once and for all

Next to bugs we have..

  1. Tightened the security of our platform even more to prepare for the future
  2. Made it easier to add a mapping to an interface
  3. Gave the interface cards a new look
  4. Based on initial feedback, made several improvements to AI chat, including
    1. Less errors
    2. You can now see who created a chat
    3. You can see your chat history
    4. You can continue your chat at a later time
    5. You have more possibilities via the chat
In addition to all the above improvements, there are a few things that deserve extra attention. We'll go into those in more detail in this section.

SAML 

Imagine you have a bunch of keys with lots of keys: one for your house, one for your work, one for your gym locker, and so on. Every time you want to go in somewhere, you have to find the right key. That's kind of how it works with logging into all your different systems and platforms. With SAML, you can start using BrynQ as your "runner," your one key to log in to all of our linked platforms, such as the ticket tool, for example. This is not only easier, but also super secure. 

Edit mode of dashboards

For our customers who not only like to look at the dashboards, but also have their own hands on the wheel and can edit the dashboards, we have addressed the edit mode of the dashboards. With this, you can now work faster and more intuitively to edit and add your visualizations. 

Personal dashboards

Unfortunately, we find that our personal dashboards sometimes escape attention. For this of course we are only looking at ourselves, we have not been able to bring you along with this beautiful new functionality. Therefore, a few screens have been added for those who have not yet created or tried a personal dashboard, to get them started. User-guiding has also been added, where you can be taken through the functionalities and application of these dashboards. Have you already tried it, but didn't quite get there? Give it another chance! We promise you can create great things with it.
