Authorize AFAS Profit

To retrieve data from AFAS Profit, two things are needed: an environment number and an XML token. After these are stored in BrynQ, it is possible to load data from AFAS Profit into dashboards.

Instructions

Follow the following steps to set up the connector correctly:
  1. Navigate to Settings > Connectors > Apps and search for AFAS Profit. Activate it first if this was not already done, via the "Activate" button under the "Actions" column;
  2. Click on the settings to set up the App;
  3. Click on "Add Environment" at the bottom;
  4. Enter the number of the environment, possibly followed by a dot and a 1-word description. The latter is not required. So for example: 12345.test environment or 12345.production. Just 12345 is also okay but can be inconvenient if there are multiple environments;
  5. Add the AppConnector token created in AFAS Profit. This should include XML tags, so for example: <token><version>1</version><data>ERD5329DB1397044DFE4YDSF89AE9314CBCE88AEF36149ADCD8</data></token>;
  6. For type, always choose "Other." The other two types are for exclusive purposes and cannot be used for dashboards;
  7. Click on "Save."
